Fun With Dogs

Activities in Hendricks County for You and Your Pup

One of the best things about having a dog is exploring the activities you can do and places you can go together. Here in the Hendricks County area, there’s no shortage of things to do with your dog that both of you will enjoy – shopping, eating, or spending the day outside in the fresh air getting some exercise. (Before you go, check your destination’s website or social media for any updates on policies or operating hours).

Shopping for You and Your Four-Legged Friend

If you’re looking for a dog-friendly shopping center where many stores welcome both you and your pet, head over to The Shops at Perry Crossing in Plainfield. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome in all common areas, and dog-friendly stores identify themselves with a window or door sticker. While you’re in the area, make a stop at Paw Street Bakery to pick up some delicious dog treats, and choose from a curated collection of toys and accessories.

Share a Meal

It’s great having the companionship of your dog while you enjoy a meal. Weather permitting, there are a handful of Avon restaurants where you can dine al fresco with your dog, including

Yats Cajun-Creole and Cabin Coffee Co.

A Day in the Park

Sometimes you just need to get out into nature! Fortunately, you have a number of parks and trails to choose from, so your dog will never be bored. Just down the road from Satori Flats, you’ll find Avon Town Hall Park and Washington Township Park, both of which have walking trails. Closer to home, there’s a walking trail that surrounds Satori Flats that includes over 2 miles of walking and biking trails!

Fun at Home

For those days when you don’t want to venture too far, the private Bark Park at Satori Flats is the perfect place for your pup to burn off some energy. If you’re looking for a pet-friendly luxury apartment for you and your dog, we think you’ll enjoy living at Satori Flats.
